The Heli Jump is one of Guanabana Tour's most successful creations.
It started in Medellín but we have now taken it to Cali too. It goes from Medellín's regional Olaya Herrera airport that is in the center of the city five minutes from El Poblado and the jump is in beautiful Guatapé lake, a twenty-five minute flight in a doorless helicopter.
We start with an 8:00 pick-up at your place in Medellín by English speaking guides in private vehicle where we will drive to the Olaya Herrera airport.
There will be a short briefing on the procedure and fitting of life jackets. Passengers lift off with life jackets already on.
Then begins the doorless helicopter flight over the city of Medellín granting a great tour of the city, all its neighborhoods, the other nine cities of the Valley of Aburrá metro area, followed by flying up into the mountains over the lush green Arví park then Guatapé lake with the majestic rock.
Once reaching the lake helicopter does a fly by of the rock and then all final preparations for the jump are made by our professional team, water crew is at the ready in boats for retrieval of all jumpers.
After jump jumpers can either get back into helicopter (we have a landing spot) and return to Medellín or can go for a boat tour a of the lake and then go to land for lunch.
After lunch group departs for a tour of the rock where they get to climb the 760 stairs followed by a tour of the town of Guatapé, then return by ground transportation to Medellín.
There is also the chance to add jetskiing or ATVing after the heli jump, which would add another two to three hours before leaving for Medellín (not included).
All included: Door-to-door transportation in private air conditioned vehicle with English speaking guide.
All safety gear.
