Day 10: All day Mocoa visiting La Cascada del Fin Del Mundo, the End of the World waterfall, a beautiful waterfall and crystalline river pools reached after a 2 hour hike through the Amazon jungle. The area is rich with all kinds of fauna from monkeys to butterflies and beautiful flora, a great opportunity to visit all these hidden beauties of the Amazon jungle.

Pasto has an interesting and rich history, it was one of the very few towns that remained loyalist during the war of independence against Spain. Places of interest to visit in Pasto are Las Lajas Sanctuary and its historical center. During the first days of January (2-7) Pasto hosts the biggest carnival in southern Colombia, El Carnaval de Negros y Blancos, the blacks and whites carnival, that dates back starting 1546, which one day celebrates black and everyone paints themselves and each other black using a cosmetic mix and another day celebrates white with everyone painting themselves and anyone in their way white with fistfuls of flower.

Day 13: Pasto early am towards the city of Popayán, 5 hours 10 mins.

Day 14: All day Popayán, the white city as it is known. Popayán is best known for its celebration of Semana Santa, Easter Week, a deeply religious city famous for its Easter Week processions and white washed facades with multiple churches and cathedrals that conserve the same ancient colonial archtecture.
