Skydiving Medellín
Brand New Skydiving Medellin From a Helicopter April 2024!
This is a brand new and exciting activity we have for Medellín region starting March 2024! Skydiving in Cartagena is currently not operational so now we are doing it in Medellín area, and from a helicopter! After a 1.5 hour drive from Medellín you will arrive to the new drop zone and receive a technical briefing from our certified skydiving instructors before taking off in a helicopter to free fall from 10,000 feet!
What do I need to know?
You need no prior experience but there are certain restrictions for skydiving in Medellín same as the ones for Cartagena. If you meet these requirements you’re good to go!
Requirements for Tandem Skydiving in Medellin:
- Must be over the age of 18 and under the age of 70. Minors can tandem skydive up to the minimum age of 12 with the signed consent of a parent or legal guardian accompanying the day of the tandem skydive. (No minor will be allowed to tandem skydive if their parent or legal guardian is not present and signed the parent-consent waiver).
- The maximum clothed weight is 110 kgs/240 lbs with a body mass index of 30.0 and under. For each kilo upwards of 90 kilos we charge 5,000 COP per kilo that takes into consideration the extra time and resources to implement.
- A questionnaire must be filled where you will be asked if you have any conditions such as epilepsy fits, severe head injury, recurrent blackouts or giddiness, disease of the brain or nervous system, high blood pressure, heart or lung disease, dislocated shoulder, or other limb(s), recurrent weakness, diabetes, mental illness, drug or alcohol addiction, or any past or present medical conditions.
- You can not be under the influence of drugs and alcohol and these can not be present in your system for the past 24 hours. Any person that shows up under the effects of drugs or alcohol will not be allowed to tandem skydive and will not be refunded.
- Furthermore, if you are pregnant you should not go skydiving in Medellin.
